Mazzeltov

Holland’s number one Klezmer band. With their impressive mastery of their instruments, tasteful arranging and most and for all their superb vitality this group plays world-class and vivid Klezmer.

De Volkskrant, Dutch daily newspaper

Mazzeltov plays Klezmer and a lot more. People usually think of Klezmer as jumpy party-music. And indeed, the band can play on and on, until the last couple at the dance floor collapses. But Mazzeltov is much more. Old, quiet songs from Eastern Europe, Yiddish translations and arrangements of today’s music, Balkan grooves, gypsy music and Sefardic songs.

In the current line-up, singer Rolinha Kross has a central position. She takes the group by the hand with her great vitality and she steals the hearts of the audience with her beautiful voice and warm personality.

Mazzeltov tours along the theatres in the Netherlands and Germany every year and plays regularly in the most important Dutch music halls, like the Amsterdam Concertgebouw and Vredenburg.

The music of Mazzeltov is perfectly suitable for all stages, world festivals, weddings and other parties or events.
